Physical properties of Vydyne PA66 R543H

Vydyne PA66 R543H is a general purpose 43% glass fiber reinforced PA66 resin. It is a natural injection grade resin used for machine feed, flow and die release.

Compared with unreinforced PA66, glass-reinforced Vydyne resin provides higher thermal deformation temperature, better creep resistance, higher impact and better dimensional stability. These products are well resistant to chemicals, including many aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons found in most solvents, gasoline, hydraulic oils, greases and motor oils.

Physical properties of Vydyne PA66 R543H

Vydyne R543H resin has tensile strength and modulus properties that are only inferior to aluminum and zinc and can replace these metals in many applications due to a good balance of properties. The main advantages of Vydyne glass reinforced PA66 resin over aluminum and/or zinc die castings are reduced production cost, energy consumption and component weight.

Vydyne R543H is formulated to minimize oxidation and thermal degradation of PA66 polymers during prolonged exposure to high temperatures. The Vydyne R543H offers improved retention of physical properties under prolonged thermal exposure. Continuous operating temperatures are 275°F and short-term peak temperatures are up to 475°F.
